That's because you've escaped to this tranquil hand cut log cabin nestled on 1-1/2 acres in Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. The stream-side fire pit and swing allow a special connection between you, your pet, your family and nature. You'll make an easy transition to inside. Several skylights in the great room highlight the interior logs, a stone fireplace, leather sofas, and a 51" TV with lots of entertainment options. The renovated kitchen and dining room is the perfect complement to your family's gathering. The main floor includes a Queen bedroom with a luxury spa bathroom - the rock walled shower will make you think you're back outside. The second floor offers a loft bedroom and another Queen bedroom. The lower level features a game room, a double bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry area. And yes, your pet gets to join you on this adventure.

Your stay includes full access to all the amenities including the private beach, three pools, spa and sauna, water sports, golf courses, restaurants, and more! Take a lake cruise, go golfing for the day, hang out at the lakefront beach, take a dip in one of the pools, or enjoy the endless activities at the Wellness/rec center and spa. Pontoon boat and SUP rentals available during the Summer. Enjoy the 18-hole mini-golf course, shooting hoops on the full-sized basketball court, or playing, cornhole, pickleball, and Tennis.
The Spa and Salon at Rumbling Bald offers a complete menu of treatments that range from salon services, skin, and nail care to soothing massages. The gift shop features locally made gifts including apparel, beauty products, organic soaps and lotions. The fitness center has state-of-the-art equipment and weekly fitness classes. All year long you can take advantage of the upgraded indoor pool area featuring a large, heated pool, jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room. All properties come with starter supplies, linens, and towels.

Secluded. Having the creek was nice (bigger that expected). Lots of yard activies on site too. We drove to Asheville a few times, about an hour drive. And a lot of winding roads (seriously). It has everything you need for a secluded get away.

Very friendly. We had scheduled this vacation in 2019, but my mother passed away unexpectantly the day we were to leave. They rescheduled our trip with no fees. Had to reschedule in 2020 due to Covid. Again rescheduled. Very awesome!

Spacious three story cabin with plenty of room for big families to spread out. Nice touches with warm blankets throughout and a couple of living rooms for kids and adults to gather. Pool table, ping pong, arcade game table, and big kitchen table for card playing gives lots of options. The backyard overlooks the creek-you hear the beautiful song of the creek from the decks. Private backyard to explore the creek and build a bonfire to roast marshmallows and keep warm. Bring supplies, the closest grocery store is a long curvy drive away and if you arent used to driving on these roads you may not want to venture out in the dark. Water proof shoes for everyone who wants to explore is a must. Close to hiking and zip lining, but Check local activity times as some places are closed on weekdays. Very beautiful view from cabin-held our family of 9 easily and we hope to make it back!

We spent a lot of time by the pool, so the nice gentleman with the knee brace was SO nice to us! Everyone always smiled at us and didnt make us feel crazy for having so many kids. We will be back! I never knew how much I loved North Carolina! Ill bring my husband next time! This was one of my absolute favorite vacations. Everything was perfectly located and very spacious. The resort amenities were fantastic and everyone who worked there was very kind and helpful. Each person I met was nicer than the next. The pools were clean and really fun. We loved how everything was contained in a single area. The beaches and playgrounds were great, I loved the drive. It was absolutely gorgeous.
We loved the view, the house is really unique and the wood is amazing. The linens were clean, the beds were cozy, and WiFi works well in the main living areas. Theres enough cookware and dishes to host a wedding. The kids loved the game room downstairs, the jacuzzi was awesome, we loved the porch swings.

Great place to visit, beautiful setting, lots to do if you want to and great place to relax. Everyone we had contact with during our stay for our daughters wedding was friendly and helpful. Three were outstanding, Mia from the spa who did hair, nails and makeup was so nice and friendly, easy to talk to and did a fantastic job. Breanna who managed everything for the wedding/reception and the young man who bar tended for both the bonfire and the wedding (unfortunately we did not get his name) were so friendly, efficient and helpful, everything went smoothly and we could relax and enjoy everything!

This place was incredible. It is very large and the pictures do not do it justice. It was dark when we arrived and the first thing you heard was the sound of the creek. A beautiful lighted path brings you down to the creek so we were able to enjoy that area at night. The inside of the cabin was beautifully decorated and spacious. It was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas!!

Really lovely cabin. Make sure to give yourself enough time to enjoy all the amenities at the resort: public beach, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub at the cabin as well as at the resort's indoor pool, mini golf, golf-golf etc. Or, you can spend days just hanging out at the cabin and not see or hear another human being.
the drive from the cabin to Asheville is about an hour each way so if you want to any brewery tourism you need to give yourself an entire day in your trip's itinerary.
