We liked the size and openness of the home.

Absolutely Perfect

This place is immaculate and everything you need is made available from pool floats to couch blankets and even a foam chair for the kids that they were obsessed with. Perfect size for our group and very private. The pools, lake, and mini golf were all super fun as well. Cant wait to come back!

The home was large and had all the kitchen stuff we needed.

Mini mountain getaway. The weather was HOT! With storms everyday plus a power outage for 3 hours on Sunday night. We went swimming at pool and lake, mini golf, Lake Lure Flowering Bridge, ice cream, and dinner at Highlands Kitchen and Bar. Favorite moments were walking part of the olf course at sunset and seeing a black bear run while we were safely in the pool.

Rainy! We shopped at Chimney Rock and Hendersonville. We fished at Morse Park. We zipped lined at Canopy Ridge. We took a boat tour. We ate at Legends on the Lake. We watched Dirty Dancing. We attempted a bazillion piece puzzle and played cards..Thanks for sharing your home with us! It was well stocked with everything we needed for such a large crowd.-McGinnas& Pearsons

A great space for a large party! Fully stocked kitchen, plentiful storage space, and a bunch of extra blankets and linens! Would highly recommend.

The condo that we stayed in was awesome it had a great balcony, The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, It had everything you needed from box to DVDs to board games for a rainy day or family night. The driveway is a little steep and we found that it was easiest to back down into the driveway. The main lake house area of the resort was awesome the only downfall is that the town of Lake Lure does not have anything open on Mondays or Tuesdays it seems like everything is shut down food wise. Theres tons to do from horseback riding to zip lining to tubing or water skiing or just enjoying the lake or the activities that the resort has to offer as well.

Adorable! This condo was great for our stay. It had all the essentials that we needed and some nice additional amenities. Its very family friendly with ample space and seating. They even had a childrens recliner which our 3 year old son loved. The back deck was nice and peaceful with comfortable zero gravity chairs and has a latched gate overlooking the water (love that its latched with a toddler). Theres three nearby picnic tables with charcoal grills (easy walking distance). The outdoor pathway is lit with sun powered pathlights which was nice for our late arrival. Theres a front patio with seating and a comfortable porch swing. The condo was comfortable and clean! The TV is a smart TV and was easy to operate. The kitchen fridge was large with plenty of room for our groceries. The kitchen was actually decently equipped with the essentials! We loved it and will definitely choose to stay at this specific condo again. And of course the resort is great and theres plenty to do and very family friendly! We enjoyed the lakeside beach, the swimming pool with the lazy River and the putt putt.

Perfect Fall weekend!

Fathers Day weekend. The weather was very humid, 80s-90s. We weren't to the pool and looked for places to build a home. Places we recommend: highlands kitchen and bar, golfing in rumbling bald, and going to chimney rock/shopping. Special moment was playing cards with family!

We had a great time! Loved the lake and the pool even though both were a bit chilly. WE visited friends at their home in Saluda. Putt-Putt and all the games were a hit with the kids. Caitlin took a boot camp class and Nichole had a massage at the wellness center. We visited Hooker Falls, Chimney Rocks little village and ate down at the Lakehouse. Karaoke night was a blast! Nichole, Mason, Maddux, and cooper all sang while Carter danced the night away. Ended our last night with family dinner and walking to see the green where a scene in Dirty Dancing was filmed. Oh and of course Toney and Mark enjoyed to rounds of golf! Thank you again for such a wonderful place to create memories with our family. -The Mehlich Family

Lakeview Retreat far exceeded my expectations! The house was immaculate and very spacious for our family. I love to cook so I immediately fell in love with the kitchen with all of the appliances, dishes, and cookware along. The kitchen also had a Keurig that I was not aware of so we brought filter coffee packs (mentioning this for the coffee lovers so they will know). The house has 3 levels which was good for my family which included my 2 daughters, sons-in-law and grandbaby. Everyone had their own floor with a full bath. The ping pong and pool table were a lot of fun (especially since it rained during our stay) and the hot tub was the best one I have ever been in with the different massage features. The spacious deck has nice furniture for relaxing and a grill that makes great hamburgers! The resort's indoor pool was great since the weather was rainy and cool. I did get to go walk on the beach before I left and it is so beautiful and peaceful. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't have more time to visit. This host of this house has it stocked with so many things that all you need to bring is the food if you choose to cook. We definitely felt at home from the minute we pulled into the driveway. I spend many hours searching for the perfect place before booking my vacations and the search for this was one was the best ever! If you are not sure where to book, you will not be disappointed with this home. I can't wait to visit again! Date of arrival - May 26, 2023
