Lakeview Retreat

Typically we meet at the beach, and were worried about the change of location four us CLT city folk. This area is a real NC gem, and your home was amazing. Ample space; we were able to take advantage of the proximity to the pool, golf, beach, legends, etc; the fire pit was clutch; games galore, and anything we forgot (poker chips) you had waiting for us. Thank you so much for your beautiful home. It was perfect for our family. Our granddaughter loved the dollhouse in the closet!! We had a family reunion (72 people) in memory of our mom. Everything was beautiful! We hope to visit again! Carter/Brown Family

Lakeview Retreat far exceeded my expectations! The house was immaculate and very spacious for our family. I love to cook so I immediately fell in love with the kitchen with all of the appliances, dishes, and cookware along. The kitchen also had a Keurig that I was not aware of so we brought filter coffee packs (mentioning this for the coffee lovers so they will know). The house has 3 levels which was good for my family which included my 2 daughters, sons-in-law and grandbaby. Everyone had their own floor with a full bath. The ping pong and pool table were a lot of fun (especially since it rained during our stay) and the hot tub was the best one I have ever been in with the different massage features. The spacious deck has nice furniture for relaxing and a grill that makes great hamburgers! The resort's indoor pool was great since the weather was rainy and cool. I did get to go walk on the beach before I left and it is so beautiful and peaceful. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't have more time to visit. This host of this house has it stocked with so many things that all you need to bring is the food if you choose to cook. We definitely felt at home from the minute we pulled into the driveway. I spend many hours searching for the perfect place before booking my vacations and the search for this was one was the best ever! If you are not sure where to book, you will not be disappointed with this home. I can't wait to visit again! Date of arrival - May 26, 2023

the kitchen is well-stocked and suitable to cook for large parties. we really appreciated that. the house is big enough for 2 or 3 different families to have plenty of space and of course, the game room is so nicely seperated from the formal living room.

Beautiful House Great house and location. The house was perfect for a large group with lots of room to spread out.

Guest services was friendly and professional. Paula Benson, Shayla Jackson, and all the sales and catering staff involved with our Meet and Greet on Thursday and the Wedding and reception on Friday did a fantastic job. The food was "banging" at both events and I didn't hear one person say anything negative--completely satisfied guests with perfect quality and service!

We had over 130 guests from all over the country who traveled to attend our daughter's wedding. Many stopped by at one time or another to visit and see the property we rented. All had extremely positive things to say about it--very nice, spacious, and loved the deck, hot tub, fire pit, etc.

The team at the Cabana were very helpful and friendly.

Rumbling Bald is a beautiful property with easy access to amenities. It is very family-friendly and laid back. We hope to be back soon!

Lakeside Retreat was a wonderful stay for 2 families. We all had enough space to spread out and the kids LOVED the hot tub, pool table and all of the toys (games and kids toys were an awesome surprise). The deck wraps around and provides a wonderful place to relax. Also, being able to walk down to the beach and pool was perfect, it was just such an easy vacation. We hope to go back next summer.

Lake view Retreat is a fantastic house which we also rented last summer. The layout is great with lots of space both inside and out..The kids loved the downstairs with the pool table and ping pong table. Also, cost to amenities so could walk to many of them. The house is well furnished, as well as, the kitchen. Very clean, well stocked...

It was a delightful house! Loved being so close to pool, etc., my grand kids loved the downstairs area, loved all the outdoor areas, best kitchen ever with pots, pans, etc.....best house ever
