Captain's Quarters

Traditionally, Captain's Quarters are luxurious.  After all that's where the Captain resides.  It has to be roomy, calm and comfortable and that's exaclty how our guests describe this house.  But, this Captain's Quarters has more.  While relaxing on its deck you'll take in the stunning mountain vistas, breath in fresh air, cook out on the grill and enjoy guality time with your family.  With 3 bedrooms and 4 baths, your family will find plenty of space for everyone. The soft leather sofa in the living room almost grabs you, forcing you to relax, enjoy a roaring fire and watch your favorite show on one of two 40" TVs..  Each of the bedrooms is decorated in clean modern lines with a nod to the natural surroundings of Rumbling Bald and Lake Lure.  You can get away from it all or you can stay connected with the dedicated WiFi connection.  Captain's Quarters gives you the choice.

Your stay includes full access to all the amenities including the private beach, three pools, spa and sauna, water sports, golf courses, restaurants, and more!  Take a lake cruise, go golfing for the day, hang out at the lakefront beach, take a dip in one of the pools, or enjoy the endless activities at the Wellness/rec center and spa.  Pontoon boat and SUP rentals available during the Summer.  Enjoy the 18-hole mini-golf course, shooting hoops on the full-sized basketball court, or playing, cornhole, pickleball, and Tennis.

The Spa and Salon at Rumbling Bald offers a complete menu of treatments that range from salon services, skin, and nail care to soothing massages.  The gift shop features locally made gifts including apparel, beauty products, organic soaps and lotions. The fitness center has state-of-the-art equipment and weekly fitness classes. All year long you can take advantage of the upgraded indoor pool area featuring a large, heated pool, jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room. All properties come with starter supplies, linens, and towels.
