Woodland Retreat

If you're looking for a secluded nature reserve, Woodland Retreat is it.  When you get out of the car, your ears will search for a sound.  Then, you'll hear it: the chirping of a bird or maybe a rustle in the bushes.   You'll know you've enter nature's playground. 
Head straight out to the patio of this cozy 3 bedroom 2 bath hideaway and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding woods. You'll have to decide.  Do you want to go inside where you'll find an open living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen? Or, do you stay outside and lounge on the deck while cooking on the gas grill?  Either way, when darkness surrounds you, you'll need to go inside and find two bedrooms with queen beds and another bedroom with a queen and a twin on the loft.  
It's worth repeating: Woodland Retreat is remote.  Therefore, you may need a four-wheel drive vehicle to make it up the gravel driveway.  It can be done without, but it's not for the faint of heart.  
When you're at Wolodland Retreat, you'll know you've escaped your ordinary world with all its cares, but, if youmust, you can connect with the dedicated WIFI.



 

Your stay includes full access to all the amenities including the private beach, three pools, spa and sauna, water sports, golf courses, restaurants, and more!  Take a lake cruise, go golfing for the day, hang out at the lakefront beach, take a dip in one of the pools, or enjoy the endless activities at the Wellness/rec center and spa.  Pontoon boat and SUP rentals available during the Summer.  Enjoy the 18-hole mini-golf course, shooting hoops on the full-sized basketball court, or playing, cornhole, pickleball, and Tennis.

The Spa and Salon at Rumbling Bald offers a complete menu of treatments that range from salon services, skin, and nail care to soothing massages.  The gift shop features locally made gifts including apparel, beauty products, organic soaps and lotions. The fitness center has state-of-the-art equipment and weekly fitness classes. All year long you can take advantage of the upgraded indoor pool area featuring a large, heated pool, jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room. All properties come with starter supplies, linens, and towels.
