Description

This two-story, pet-friendly home is ideal for a family reunion, two couples with children, or a group of golfers. The home is a short walk from the Wellness Center, recreational complex, beach, outdoor pools, and restaurants.  With four bedrooms and three full baths, this home provides ample sleeping and living accommodations for eight people. Guests will like taking advantage of the high speed internet with wireless router for convenient computer connections. 

The upper level contains two bedrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen. Celestial lighting and cathedral ceilings help make the inside bright and cheery. The home has been redecorated with a modern palette of colors. The master suite features a queen bed, wicker loveseat, wicker armchair, dresser, 32-inch flat screen TV, large walk-in closet, and private bath with twin sink vanity and combination tub/shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds, two closets, and adjacent bath with combination tub/shower. The living room has a large sectional sofa, oversized armchair with ottoman, corner hutch with 50" flat screen TV with DVD player, and separate cassette tape/CD player. On chilly fall or winter evenings, you can cozy up and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the log-burning fireplace.

The dining room has a dark wooden table with seating for eight, plus two additional chairs along the kitchen counter. The kitchen is large with plenty of cabinets and counters. It comes fully-equipped with a refrigerator/ ice maker, ceramic top range, microwave oven, broiler toaster oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Off the kitchen is a good-sized utility room with a full-size washer and dryer, food pantry, and closet. Sliding glass doors from the master bedroom, living room, and dining room all lead to the large outdoor deck with a splendid scenic view overlooking the rocky face of Rumbling Bald Mountain. With the propane BBQ grill and ceramic-tile topped table with sling-back chairs, you can grill outside, dine alfresco, and soak up the mountain vista and scenery. 

The lower level contains two bedrooms. The first has one queen bed and one twin bed, a large walk-in closet, and bath with tub/shower combination. The second has one twin bed, one twin bed over one double bed, and small closet. There is also a downstairs playroom with a sofa, pull-out futon, 32-inch TV with VCR/DVD players, and a mini-pool table for kids. You will also find a selection of games, books, and puzzles.  A sliding glass door from the game room opens to a lower deck with hanging hammock chair. This home has two pull-off parking spaces on the road. There is also a driveway down to the lower level for parking additional vehicles. 

CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald Resort rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation. NO refunds will be given for early departures or unused portions of packages.


HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES: There is a one-two day starter supply of items such as coffee packets, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent (where appropriate), shampoo, and soap that has been supplied for your vacation rental. All towels, sheets, and linens are provided for the allowed occupancy number of each unit.  There is no housekeeping service provided during your stay. If you run out of any starter supplies, you many purchase these at Apple Valley Market or Ingles Grocery.

    Great news! This property/unit is pet friendly. There is a $75.00 non-refundable fee on all approved pets. We reserve the right to refuse any pet and to limit the number of pets allowed in each property/unit.

    Just a few reminders for you and your furry friend:

    • Your pet must be current on all required vaccinations
    • Make sure your pet is kept on a leash when taken outside
    • You are responsible for immediate clean up after your pet, both inside and outside
    • Pets must be kenneled or caged at night and when you are away from the property
