January, 2018 Our family spent several days and nights at Starry Night during Christmas week, 2017. To just say that our stay was fantastic is not adequate. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, on a cul-de-sac for privacy, with picturesque views from the back porch and decks of the forest and the lake in the distance. Our hosts were thoughtful and did the little things in advance to make us feel welcome and make it seem like a home away from home. It is close enough to Ashville for visits to the Biltmore Estate and the Grove Park Inn, but secluded and serene enough for relaxation, putting together a puzzle and looking at the stars. Our group of six aged from the granddaughter at 9 to the great-grandmother at 89, and all in-between. It was a unique holiday experience for all of us, one that we wont forget. We hope that we will have another opportunity to stay there, maybe during the summer to enjoy the lake or again in the winter, maybe with a snowfall. Whatever the time, we know that it would be wonderful. Thanks again for sharing Starry Night with our family. The Scarbrough and Poole families Birmingham, AL

Location was beautiful and amenities were exactly what our group wanted. House had everything we wanted and so beautifully maintained. Living room and dining room for our group, and bedroom configuration were nice. Washer/dryer nice

I had very little interaction with the staff. The interaction I did have was pleasant.

We loved our stay with Rumbling. We look forward to returning in the future to enjoy the resort in the warmer months. Fairway Villa 1102 was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was well kept and clean. If we knew the Villa had a dvd player we would have brought movies with us. The wifi was a nice perk. We cannot say enough positive things about this villa. We would select this villa again.

What a great place, location and amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped which was important to us since we cooked every night. Also, the house was immaculate. It had everything as advertised. We will probably come back in the summer to rent again!

This place was incredible. It is very large and the pictures do not do it justice. It was dark when we arrived and the first thing you heard was the sound of the creek. A beautiful lighted path brings you down to the creek so we were able to enjoy that area at night. The inside of the cabin was beautifully decorated and spacious. It was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas!!

Nice area. Pretty location. Affordable. Comfortable. Clean.

The area is gorgeous and takes you away from the city hub bub. The Lake is lovely and there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. I chose Apple Valley 19 because it was an end unit and very quiet. The screened in back deck is wonderful. The place has everything you need for a week or weekend.

Everyone was completely professional and made us feel comfortable and welcome.

I enjoyed staying in Apple Valley 19 at Rumbling Bald Resort. The resort has beautiful views and great history. I will likely return in the near future.

Fireside Cabin is a super nice cabin. You're able to use all the resorts amenities which are super. The wellness center, the restaurants, the activities. If you are traveling with your family, this place is ideal.

The Rustic Roost at Rumbling Bald is an excellent cabin that is fully stocked for a quiet family vacation. Everything was clean and the home and mountain views were beautiful.

We were very pleased to find the property clean, bright, and spacious, with everything we needed for our stay. Everything inside had been decorated meticulously and with excellent taste. The house affords plenty of privacy and we took full advantage of the expansive, multi-level deck by sitting outside and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The Resort is beautiful and has fantastic amenities. My wife and I enjoyed the large pool, had a great meal at the restaurant, and loved taking a stroll along the marina. We loved to be able to walk directly onto the deck outside of our bedroom in the mornings to take in the beauty of the sunrise. Also, the satellite televisions were certainly a bonus in the evenings with many station options. We had never been to Lake Lure before but a heard so many great things about it. We decided that the "Dirty Dancing" weekend would be the perfect opportunity to go. They even had a fantastic "Dirty Dancing" after hours party right there at our resort!

The condo was perfect. Very clean. Screened in porch super! We did not need a things. Clean linens and towels. Nice to have a washer and dryer to use. Apple Vally Golf Course was a blast to play and it was in our back yard; no travel! Great food and dining at Legends. This is a lovely setting.

Really lovely cabin. Make sure to give yourself enough time to enjoy all the amenities at the resort: public beach, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub at the cabin as well as at the resort's indoor pool, mini golf, golf-golf etc. Or, you can spend days just hanging out at the cabin and not see or hear another human being. the drive from the cabin to Asheville is about an hour each way so if you want to any brewery tourism you need to give yourself an entire day in your trip's itinerary.

We will certainly book this house again. All 10 of us had plenty of space and the huge kitchen made it easy for us to cook and eat comfortably. The golf cart was so awesome to get around in.

Great location! We were on the smaller lake were we could fish and paddle boat yet we could easily walk to the big lake.

The resort was beautiful and well maintained. The views were wonderful and there were plenty of amenities for everyone in the family! The unit was very comfortable, clean and spacious. My kids and I had a terrific time on the resort and the unit was very convenient to all the amenities. It was very quiet at night and we all slept great! Wonderful resort - can't wait to return again!

You have a great team of employees. The personnel are friendly and very helpful.

We have made it a girls long weekend for 2 years now and plan on doing it again every year. Next year we are booking a week in the winter and bringing our spouses to share the beauty of Rumbling Bald. It is so relaxing and our houses that we stayed at were absolutely beautiful. The last house we stayed was Pinch Me. It is perfect home for multiple families to stay together. It really has 3 living area on all floors. Bathroom on ever level. Gas fireplace and Hot tub with a gorgeous view of the mountains. It snowed the weekend we went and just so enjoyed our stay. We really did pinch ourselves! It was so unreal! WE LOVED IT AND WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!
