What an awesome vacation! So relaxing and felt like a home away from home. Chimney Rock was our favorite place locally. Highland Kitchen and Grill was our favorite restaurant, but honestly just hanging out here on the porch was the most relaxing. Typically we meet at the beach, and were worried about the change of location four us CLT city folk. This area is a real NC gem, and your home was amazing. Ample space; we were able to take advantage of the proximity to the pool, golf, beach, legends, etc; the fire pit was clutch; games galore, and anything we forgot (poker chips) you had waiting for us. Enjoyed twice and God willing the creek doesnt rise well be here in October 2024. Nice Condo. Quiet location and close to amenities. We used to have a cabin in riverbend so we got to know rumbling bald during that time. Stayed in several other rental properties here but glad we found yours. Tim & Debbie

Wow! What an amazing time our family had and thank you so much for sharing your home. It was our 1st family vacation since both my daughters got married. We enjoyed our family time especially with our 6 month old grand-daughter. I love to cook so I enjoyed the kitcen and then relaxing in the hot tub. Enjoyed a wonderful week here-white water rafting, tubing, ziplining, hanging out at the lake, visiting Ashville. Enjoyed the house set up-great for our 3 young grandson (ages 6-8-10). 3 generations were here, lots of room, downstairs was fun- especially for the kids.

- Great place to relax and enjoy time away! We got to visit with our grandkinds. Fireworks on the beach were awesome! We recommend Buffalo Creek Park Trail and Victory Kitchen for Lunch/Breakfast.

- We enjoyed a fun 48 hour staycation. Lots of laughs and playing! The lake is our happy place. We did the lazy river diving contests in the deep end, indoor pool-hot tub and cold plundge into the pool, mini golf, lake paddle boarding and dock jumping. We even say a bear while out front playing uno. Yummy pizza with a lake view. I think we packed in almost everything in our short stay. Oh we tried to talk my parents into buying a condo haha. Thanks for the fun memories! Your condo is cozy and warm. Well the bedroom is freezing but we like that. The Engles

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday week here at the Rustic Roost. This our first time to this vacation home love it all so much. The dcor, the details of every room. Our boys (6) and (9) loved the hot tub, pool table, games, puzzles, and karaoke! They learned how to play chess, the sunsets were gorgeous. Thank you for having detailed instructions on all of the appliances & equipment. We made great memories here. We might start a new Thanksgiving tradition & come here year-round. Cheers!
